IDE Festival Website

During my second-to-last semester, I was part of the redesigning of the Interdisciplinary Education Festival website at Camosun. My classmates chose me as the lead for the front-end development. This meant I oversaw the work of others in the front-end team and changed how the website looked to match the client’s playful theme, which included using puzzle pieces. We used PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build the site. I redesigned all the pages from scratch and added new ones, like an events page and an ‘about the festival’ page.

This project taught me the importance of communicating well as a leader. It helped me improve my skills in managing projects and let me put my knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and PHP into practice.
